Slice made out like a bandit. Arlovski is doing quite well for himself and the cynical part of me says that his new paydays have something to do withi his rejuvenated form. But, I can't hate him for making that much. He's looked good since he left the UFC.
I'm surprised at how little Carano makes. I'd be tempted to say that it's another case of the gender gap in pay but the reality is there might not be tons of competition for female fighters. And, she has benefited quite a bit from the exposure.

I see why some fighters
I see why some fighters would be quick to sign with these guys as they even pay the lower tier fighters much better than the UFC pays fighters like that. Think about it Jardine makes like $14k a fight yet Benji Radach made $30k. I can not believe Kimbo makes $500k without even winning. That is why so many people hate on him. It's not his fault because I know I would take money like that as I am sure all other fighters would as well but it has to piss veteran fighters off that they have busted their asses all their life and it would take them like 5 years to make money like that.

I thought Affliction was cutting back on salaries? Why would they pay him so much for a co-sponsored event (mostly EXC, maybe 15% Affliction) Can you get some evidence of this pay at all? I would be very interested to see it as it would totally be the opposite of what Affliction said after their first event.
On Kimbo's pay...I would take 500k and go in the octagon and take a short right with little power behind it and drop to the mat in 14 seconds. Especially if I grew up very poor and had to feed a family. Not saying he took a dive but Seth has said he told Kimbo he would give him a rematch and Kimbo said no. Hmmmmm Taking the money and running Kimbo? again, not saying he took a dive but.
