This puts Evans in a whole new light for me. Now, the Salmon head kick doesn't look like such an aberration. With his wrestling and now his stand-up and the tutelage of Jackson, Evans has got to be even with Forrest going into their title fight.

Great fight, Rashad. I doubted you beforehand but now I know that you're unbeaten for a reason. Kudos!

I totally underestimated Evans going into this fight he really deserves everything that he gets after this one. He fought a smart fight and knocked out a legend in brutal fashion. I can guarantee Liddell has fought his last opponent from Greg Jackson's camp!!

I, too, underestimated Evans. Major props for that KO. I would, however, like to make this (mildly sarcastic) observation - had Liddell been standing about an inch closer I think that would've been the set up for a perfect Rocky III free-frame shot before a double KO.

I said this in my post-event analysis, but I'd like to state it again - 2008 has thus far proven to be a much better year for Greg Jackson than 2007 (with the exception of Jardine getting blitzed by Silva). I think this win will once again give his camp a huge boost.

Watch the highlight again...see the camera flash go off just before Evans throws? That flash blinded Chuck!!!!!! He didnt see the punch coming.

I know, poor excuse. I agree with you preview. First time I saw the highlight I thought Chuck just missed his punch and we could have seen double KO! Rashad really, really threw that punch. It was fast, hard and landed perfectly.

All I can say is holy crap. No one gave Rashad a chance in this fight (except Eers) and he gives us his second highlight knockout of his career. I have always liked Rashad since seeing him win TUF. He made Hughes eat his words and was an underdog being a LHW in a HW competition. He just had not fought anyone worth mentioning to get his undefeated record. Well that has all changed now. Good for Rashad. Not good for Liddell. I have him in the pool on this board and was looking at an easy win with bonus pts for early KO. He was my round 1 pick for Christ Sake! I feel the same as the owners that took Brady as their QB this year. That was a major blow to my chances at winning the pool. Thanks Chuck...Thanks a lot!
