I have Matt Hughes at number 2. He may never defeat GSP again but he's still the man until proven otherwise.

I think is he is the "all time best" but just a little over the hill now. Serra is lucky because he will just take a loss instead of a pounding lol. As for Silva, he needs to win this one against Jardine before I can cut him some slack lol.

And just so people know this......I really wanted to put Bisping and Serra in this, but after looking it over, they didn't belong.

If you're going on their
If you're going on their record Evans belongs somewhere in the LHW, but I dislike him and his style so I might not be the person to say where. And if you're going to have Kos you need Serra. Also I'd put Ken Flo over Sherk only based on inactivity due to the suspension. And I think Parisyan should be a little higher, probably over Swick based on record (Swick's new to the division) and Hughes should be higher. I'd say GSP, Serra, Hughes atleast until the Hughes vs. Serra fight. But I might be biased.

i think the attempt to get to 10 guys in some of the weightclasses makes it tough because when you get down that deep. i don't know anything about yushiyuki but looking at the UFC's listed guys at 170, i can't make a compelling argument why to not have him over anyone else. same with hamill at 205... i can't make a compelling argument why not.
besides, anyone outside a top 5 at any given point in time is not really in any immediate title contention and could easily make a large move after 1 fight card, whether it be up or down the list.
... good luck with the heavyweights ... seriously ... finding 10 viable heavyweights on the ufc roster... you will have names on there that will undoubtedly get reactions like lesnar, but the total lack of known talent would make a lesnar appearance on a top 10 justifiable in my eyes.
so, good list eers. not going to quibble over the order because i think your top 5s are fair and accurate.

Ahhh, Nate, you've just entered the Kimbo Zone. From what I understand from reading some of the forum entries, the word "Kimbo" is the punchline to a lot of jokes for the MMAfia. Thus, his inclusion in the top 10...

Yea the whole heavyweight division I need to do yet I need to take that out and work it up....The Kimbo thing is a Joke, I would never put a fighter in the top 10 until they beat someone. Or at least was a top level martial artist.
