$800,000 guaranteed payout for Silvia? Wow. What's Fedor getting paid? And if they have AA, Rothwell and Barnett all as rumored... that would be a ridiculously good card, but a MASSIVELY expensive one!! The article says, $5mm-$6mm? If that's true that has to be double/triple anything the UFC has ever done... I guess Cuban plans on losing money to get his name out there....???

I hope they know what they are doing. I don't believe the live gate or the ppv numbers on such an event will be close to UFC numbers so they must be willing to take an initial hit...Which you pretty much have to accept in MMA...
That would be a sweet matchup if they sign AA and Barnett were to fight...
Very good card but none of these guys are big names outside hardcore circles (sylvia and aa are close)...If they threw a Tito Ortiz or a Couture of course on there (and maybe they will in the future), then they might have something...
From a sporting perspective, great card. From a business perspective not sure right now...
I wouldnt be surprised to see Randy Couture on this card... this would be right after his contract exprired, right?
I'm still in shock that Silvia would get $800,000 for one fight - that cant be right. I mean, I think it's great for the fighters... Has a UFC fighter ever made that much as a base before?
That has got to get other fighters attention and could be one of the reasons the UFC is trimming roster... they know they have a lot of guys to re-sign and the asking amounts are going to be much higher this time around. ESPECIALLY if a guy like Silvia is making 3x, 4x, or in many cases 10x what other equally popular guys make...
