I just read that Frank Trigg was an announcer and Marcus Davis presented the title belt at last night's TNA wrestling PPV. I watched the last fight between Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe and they tried so hard to make it feel like a UFC match complete with a cage.

I cringe at the thought of blurring the line between pro wrestling and MMA.
Except for one thing: MMA has crossover appeal for pro wrestling fans. That means more passionate fans for the sport and more revenue for the industry. It's not all a bad thing...
It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't trying to pass it off as real, they were using rear naked chokes, but no one tapped out, I have hardly ever seen a legitimate fighter able to remain conscious if that move is applied properly.
