Koscheck to Replace Diego at UFC 90

Josh Koscheck will replace an injured Diego Sanchez to fight Thiago Alves on less than two weeks notice at UFC 90: “Silva vs. Cote” at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., on October 25.
“The Nightmare” has to withdraw from the highly anticipated welterweight showdown because of torn rib cartilage sustained during training.
I will give my boy, Kos, props for taking this dangerous fight on such short notice. Alves is vicious enough when allowed eight weeks to train, let alone less than two weeks' notice.
I think this definitely has the possibility of being fight of the night and I am jacked that Kos is fighting in "The Windy City."

Motherf***er this sucks I was looking forward to seeing Diego begin his march towards a title shot against GSP. Credit to Koshcheck for taking a tough fight on such short notice this is one fight where I hope he wins as I can't stand Alves who is a cheat. Damn two weeks notice is not a lot for either fighter to start training for one another. Koshcheck & Diego are two completely different animals altogether.

I think Josh Kos is a better fight, he is stronger and will probably be faster than Matt was. He should be able to get take downs and work the ground good.
