Quinton Jackson charged in court, for his rampage
Former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was charged today for his alleged role in the string of collisions on July 15th in Costa Mesa, CA.
The Associated Press states, Jackson is facing charges of reckless driving, driving against traffic, and felony evasion, as a result of the collisions. He will also be charged with hit and run and reckless driving. The charges have a maximum sentence of 3 years.
He will be arraigned on August 28, with bail being set at $25,000.
However, he will not be charged in victim, Holly Grigg’s, miscarriage, according to sherdog.com.
“We reviewed all the medical records and spoke with the victim’s physician and the evidence showed that the loss of the fetus was not related to the crash,” said Farrah Emami, spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
There have been rumors of Rampage stepping into the octagon against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, for a showdown in December.
