I know. Unbelievable. SI played it up too...
Radio announcers around here where making fun of the live commentators at this contest. I guess the one said it was the most exciting finish in sports. First off, I don't know how hot dog eating is a sport and second, how this tops Boston Celtics win, Detroit Stanley Cup run or even the New York's playing each other in a subway series in baseball is laughable.

Or Nadal-Federer at Wimbledon yesterday...
I was reading an article about how unhealthy hot-dog eating contests are. Apparently your body is still digesting for days afterwards on top of all the salt, etc...
That was a great tennis match. Back and forth action all day...no pun intended...ok maybe a little bit but man, neither one would back down. It was a great match but the announcer at the hot dog eating contest said it before that tennis match so I didnt include it.
