God bless, Big Mac. I'm so terribly sorry to hear about this loss. My experiences have been a mixed bag in this war. A friend from the second grade was KIA in Iraq last year. Hadn't seen him in a while, but our family kept him in our prayers every week. And my best friend came home after back-to-back tours in Iraq, and now has twins with his lovely wife, and are living at Quantico in Virginia. Thankfully, he doesn't have to go back into combat. I will put Travis and his family into my prayer book.

Same sentiments for you here too bro. I got a few friends from high school heading over there soon.

Thanks guys....it was the only thing I felt I could do. I'm away from home until Sunday, so I had to pay some sort of respect to such a great man. He was no more special than anyone else serving, so it goes out to everyone. Appreciate the messages too, life is great, and Travis knew that. Thanks.

The fact that I oppose this war is only strengthened when I hear of personal tragedies such as this. I may not agree with what is going on over there, but I have the utmost respect and admiration for the brave men and women that our serving our treasured country. I am so sorry for your loss bud.
