Henderson v Palhares?
Did anyone else see that mmaweekly is reporting this fight? I just read it now, and it says that "sources close to the camp of Brazilian Top Team fighter Rousimar Palhares that he has signed to fight (Dan) Henderson in a 185-pound divisional bout at UFC 88 on Sept. 6 in Atlanta." Boy, Palhares is slick, but this is a huge leap in competition. And Henderson is taking a risk, too, wth this potentially being a third consecutive loss. Would be a sick fight, though.

If Dan loses this fight I don't think the UFC drops him. His loses were against Rampage and Silva so I think Dana would give him the benefit of the doubt on those fights. It would be a good time for him to win one however.

Oh, I don't think he gts dropped, Cincy. Far from it. The UFC wouldn't risk one of it's top middleweights/light heavyweights signing elsewhere. I just think it gets harder and harder to sell a fight for a guy on a long losing streak, no matter who it is.
