Gary Shaw was supposed to be on 3 more rounds tonight...on cagesidelive.....he was a no show....they asked for call ins.....so yours truely called in.....they wanted to talk so I talked lol! They wanted to know why I thought he was fired so I gave this reason. He had a guy who could not KO a guy with a glass jaw siting at the top of the company, over a few legit top 15 HW's. There was a few middle weights on the card who could have betten him easely. And it took a piece of skin for him to win, and he had to hit it about 50 times for it to pop.

I have mixed feelings about this. Shaw has gotten the promotion pretty far in a short amount of time and has done whatever it takes (good or bad) to do so. Dana White has given Brock Lesnar way too much credit too given his MMA inexperience and there are bad boys like Melvin Guillard in the UFC. So, I don't think Shaw is that far off.

I just hope that if this is true, CBS can find a competent replacement who knows what they are doing.

I haven't posted this on the headlines page because these are anonymous sources and it's all speculation. Every site that cited anonymous sources regarding the UFC's big announcement was wrong...

i agree with the fight ticker... that dude gary shaw ( now i dont know everything about him) got pro elite on CBS>.. and has promoted girl fights... which is cool... who evers next MUST have a love for the sport so it can grow in a POSITIVE direction.... he got the eys to look.. and now we gotta keep them there...
