Amir vs CB II
OfflineOk...who wins in the rematch. I am personally routing for Amir. I think King compared him to Forrest and I think thats bang on. The kid takes a lot of punishment and just keeps fighting. There is no quit in his game. He finds different ways to win whether its standing up or submitting someone. He also is very funny just like Forrest. I think this kid has a great future in the UFC. CB is good but I thought he was supposed to be the clear cut winner by a big margin. In his first fight with CB he did not look to good. He put a good elbow in but didnt do to much the rest of the fight. He just took him down all the time. I noticed in this fight that his balance is not the greatest either. He got hit by Tim and Amir from small shots that should not knock someone down but he was always falling after a shot. Maybe they were harder shots than they looked but I just think he has bad balance. He didn't look like the big bad dude the show was hyping. He should get better as he matures however and getting some good training in will help him. Go Amir!

i'm rooting for amir 100% but unless he improves on his takedown defense it's going to be a strategic lay and pray victory for CB

I noticed that too Papa...in their first fight he was getting taken down very easily. Hopefully he worked on that but hopefully he can pull off another sudden submission if he does get taken down. He locked that armbar on quick and tight. CB was tapping real fast.

cincy - amir's got a weird striking style. before he strikes he kind of "lazily" closes the distance and throws a kick or strike. i wouldn't say its 'easy' but i feel like if CB really wanted to win a decision instead of winning the fight, he could easily take advantage of this.
100,000 dollar contract. Do you play it cautious for the win or go balls out. It seems like every other final fight they go balls out to me. But I think CB has been taking it cautious the whole season. He submitted Rampage there but he never really took any chances in the actual fights. Its going to be fun to watch on Saturday though.
