Wow. What an interview. Interesting thoughts about the ring.

I have to agree a bit with Nick that the promoters put fighters in awkward situations and it seems to happen more often than not in EliteXC...

I know I'm just a kid but the way I think it should be is this......People who are going to push fights should not be ringside.....people who can not control their anger should not be allowed to have wepons (martial arts of any kind is a lethal weapon right?) ......and Dana White should fire Nate if he is going to keep showing up in other places looking silly.

most of that crap escalated without nick diaz. old-man noons and nate diaz were getting into it and it looked like it all started with them.

i don't support a lot of what diaz says, but i can see how he thinks keeping the family out of it is a good idea, but i think he misses the point about how the event is a big deal for the kid, so his family wants to be there to celebrate with him.

i disagree with his ring vs cage thoughts... i think the ring is sloppy and the ropes are cumbersome

but i do agree that the way noons won against him is bullshit. its nick diaz, he turns into a bloody mess all the time, and i'm pretty sure he was more bloody when he beat gomi (who is certainly better than kj noons). kj noons got ktfo'd by krazy horse, beats edson berto and finds himself in a title fight? wins via cut and people are calling him king karl and they build a ppv tagline for him? what the hell is that nonsense?

I enjoyed the article. I think it all comes down to...(to quote someone everyone loves to hate) "He wants to be a (expletive) fighter!" Simple. I like Nick, he's one of my favorites. His fights are guaranteed to be exciting to watch.

How high was he when he started that rant? Holy cow, talk about mouth-diarrhea.

You are always guaranteed a good fight with him but I have never liked his attitude outside the cage (or ring if thats your thing) He has a frigin chip on his shoulder the size of Thompson's cauliflower ear. His attitude is pathetic. I don't agree with his thoughts on hating everyone until they fight. Sure he can hate them but you can still respect other fighters until you actually fight.

Good call brat on Nate being careful. I was shocked he was even there and then to go in there with Nick and then to start this crap with the father. Nate needs to either distance himself from Nick, because I don't think he is the best role model to have or grow the hell up. He is not going to distance himself from his brother so he better start maturing quick or he will be joining Nick in EXC

i guess what i found funny was what did gary shaw expect? everyone knew they were bringing the diaz brothers into the ring to talk shit...noons dad should know that the diaz brothers are about being "hardcore" and really hate when people maddog them or not look at them...but it was kj noons and his dad who went after nate and nick diaz. the diaz bros were talking shit, kj and his dad got upset. this was nothing different from when GSP entered the octagon after hughes beat bj...but maybe it was because nate wasn't in the back flipping people off...

I believe everything they say about Nick Diaz having ADD. He was so all over the place in that interview. At times I thought he was trying to apologize for some of his actions, then his inner Nick Diaz came bursting the (expletive) out.
