Joe Daddy vs Gleison Tibau

Joe Stevenson (28-8) will look to get back in the 155-pound title hunt when he takes on Gleison Tibau (15-5) at UFC 86 on July 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Both of these guys are coming off of losses, just one of them a little more devastating than the other. Joe Daddy suffered a beat down at the hands of BJ Penn and Tibau suffered a decision loss to Tyson Griffin. A win could put Stevenson with in a win away of another title shot? But a second straight loss would be very hard in this very stacked division.
Stevenson should enter the heavily favored to win, but I would not count out Gleison, he is very capable of pulling out this win. He is a very strong wrestler with good grappling as well and if his last fight had not been against one of the best wrestlers in the LW division (Griffin) he would be 4-0 right now in the 155 rank.

It should be a good fight.

I don't think a win puts

I don't think a win puts Stevenson within the title shot. Though he's a great fighter, I think the UFC will give other lightweights the opportunity for the title before Stevenson gets another shot. He's not super marketable and his last fight against BJ Penn didn't show much to average fans so I think the UFC will look for others who can deliver in both senses...
