After forming what I would consider a friendship with Felice Herrig, it only left me more intrigued with Chuck Norris and his style of fighting. But living in a small area like mine, I thought learning something like Chun Kuk Do or Jeet Kune Do would be impossible.

Well today we pulled in-front of a place were I have been wanting to take a class, (cheernastics) and Mom was like "Sammy get out and write that number down I can’t read it". Once I walked over I was able to see the sign Karate Roger Ferguson…..I was excited and ran to the van.

I made Dad call Mr. Ferguson right away, wondering about the classes. When dad got off of the phone he was like “I will tell you kids right now, he sounds as strict as Mr. West (The foot ball coach)

We all were pretty excited about the trip but also wanted to make sure we can find a way to train with Sensei Swick, if he wants us back lol. So we went home and got ready to head back to the dojo, basically.

Once we got there Mr. Ferguson went over a lot of things with us. Such as the belt system white, purple, orange, blue x 2, green x 3, red x 3, and black. What exactly he taught in his class, and what he expected from his students.

Once training began we all joined ranks together for a while going over some basic kicks. Then he pulled Mr. Couts (a black belt) out of the class and had him to teach us how to break a front choke and side choke. Once he was satisfied we had it down we sat back down on the mat and watched the others fend off different kinds off attacks. Once that was over it was our turns (lol) didn’t we feel silly! But we did alright I guess I will post some videos for your amusement lol! I bet every one gets a little embraced doing the key-yaw (how the heck do you spell that?) when they start!

All and all it was a fun day and I defiantly want to try to swing both if possible? I think Michael and Chuck are still unsure but I know I am a stand up fighter!
