Australasia vs. America

Team USA is anchored by lethal Lana Stefanac. (May as well call her bone crusher) because when you face her, its tap or snap.

First up is Fiona Muxlow vs. Cindy Hales:
A lot of people will be expecting this to be the fight of the night? Personally, I expect Fiona to come out looking for a quick knockout, and be taken down to the mat early and often. The belt will be taking a trip across the ocean because Cindy is bringing it home with her.

Michelle Preston vs. Katie Meehan:
If you like stand up wars, don’t miss this one! Preston seems to be making some threats but Meehan is a true veteran and will be ready for a war. In the end I think Katie’s Knock Out streak will stay intact. “Be careful Tara” Meehan may gun for you next!

Van Do vs. Mandy Stewart:
Mandy’s hook and shoot experience will defiantly help her in this fight. Will it be enough though? Van Do is very good on her feet, and has good enough ground game to stop the take downs IMO. I think (barring a Sera like punch this one ends quickly)

Margaux Latrobe vs. Tamara Parks:
This is my early pick for the fight of the night! Latrobe wants to start her MMA career off in the same way Parks did. Will it happen? I think their lack of cage experience will make this a very interesting fight with both of them eager to move up in the ranks.
In the end I have to go with team USA

Lil Bit vs. Leighanne Banham:
From what I can find on the two, Leighanne will probably be more versed in Muay Thai, but this is a MMA fight and that’s were I think Lil Bit’s BJJ training will pull her through. I expect it to be a war and would not be surprised to see either lady walking out with the win.

Amanda Lucas vs. Nicole Kavagh:
Star Wars plays a role in MMA? I’m sure that’s a monkey Nicole doesn’t want on her back, but when you grow up with one of the worlds most popular Directors, “George Lucas,” as a father, it would be hard to get away from.

She has a tough task ahead of her in Nicole. Although Amanda is the stronger of the two, she is far less experienced, and will need to be flawless to pull out a win.
