When Fightticker first came around I was so happy, it gave me a place to voice my opinions and talk about MMA with a great group of people. Interacting with Pramit has been awesome and he has given us all the freedom to be ourselves and for some uf us an opportunity to do things they have always dreamed of. I started with the Pride of a Champion ppv, I just started typing the play by play and beofre I knew it Pramit gave me an opportunity to do it for all of the major shows including The UFC, The WEC & EliteXC. He promoted it to the front page and I started to get a sense of real motivation to be here all the time, write some articles and then I was lucky enough to land an interview with Pete Sell. That interview got so much exposure thanks to this site & Pramit, I still can't believe how many other sites picked it up.

That is why I sit here today and find myself at a loss, my life has been so crazy lately and I have no time to be on here much less the energy to write anything worthwhile. Then I come on here all pumped and no one is here, where the hell is everyone!!!! Anyway I still pop on here and the growth on this site is fantastic. The deal with google and the blog by Brandon will really bring the site the recognition it deserves. I am hoping my schedule winds down so I can get back on here and try and catch up to Phoenix and his 1 million posts. I think he has access and is changing the numbers!!!

I have to tell you I am really looking forward to UFC 84, I find it crazy that while everyone argues about who the better fighter is GSP or Silva, no one mentions Penn. This is a man who when he is on can beat guys twice his size, after he takes care of Sherk maybe more people will include his name in that discussion. Tito Ortiz may be making his last entrance into the octagon, I always loved his entrances, I got hooked when he made his way against Shamrock in thier second fight. So many people seem to think this is it for him and his days as a viable fighter, well I think Tito is a proud man and he would love nothing more than to shove a victory down the throat of Dana White all the while raising his stock to the other organizations. Nothing against Machida he is a good fighter, but I see Tito being more motivated than ever, he is not going down easy. Jardine against Silva is another interesting fight, if Jardine wins he has to be next in line for a title shot, if he loses maybe I see him fighting Liddell again when Chuck gets healthy. Silva has a lot riding on this fight, 4 losses in a row does not make for a valuable fighter no matter how popular he is. The rest of the card is pretty stacked, the one fight I am looking forward to is the debut of Shane Carwin, I have heard good things about this guy, we all know there is a need for good heavyweights.

I hope to be on here more often and chat with you guys, we got a great summer of fights to discuss.
